In schema therapy, we will work to uncover and understand your schemas, sometimes called as life traps which are unhelpful patterns. Schema therapy aims to teach you how to ensure your emotional needs are met in a healthy way that doesn’t cause distress.

- You struggle in romantic relationships.
- You overreact to the same kind of situation.
- You constantly feel low or anxious.
- You have low self-confidence.
- You are stuck in some area of your life that you can’t seem to change.
- You were in therapy before; however, it did not help you or the issues came back after you finished therapy.
- You are diagnosed with a personality disorder.
- You have eating issues such as emotional eating, binge eating, restrictive eating or an eating disorder.
- You think that you might have abandonment issues or insecure attachment type.
- You had a difficult childhood and struggle with childhood traumas.
